“Organizations” and “Worskpaces” are two new API management layers that we introduced in your Console.
Everything you do in your Console will now take place in an Organization. The Organization is the highest API management level, where you’ll define and access company-level information with an emphasis on contract and invoicing.
An Organization may contain one or more Worskpaces. Whereas the Organization is an administrative layer, a Workspace is an operational layer. It features a collection of domains, both sandbox and production, related to an Organization-managed contract and billing.
When you're brand new to Powens, it's best to keep it simple and start with just one Organization and one Workspace. But as you start using our Console for more things, and with more groups of people, you can have multiple domains separate by using various Workspaces.

💡 For most of you, we have already created the Organization. In this case, you do not need to create a new one.

Let’s do that with the tap of a finger! Your Organization switcher will default display all the Organization associated with your email address. Here are the steps to follow to create a new one:
Organization switcher
at the top right of your Console window.create Organization
There are 3 roles:
Admin
: An admin has access to all Workspaces in the Organization. They can therefore perform the following actions: add/edit/deleteAccounting
: The role of accounting allows you to access and edit invoice information for all Workspaces as well as invoicing information for the Organization.Member
: By default, all members of a Workspace or domain present in an Organization inherit the role of Organization member. This does not give them any special permissionsTo join an existing organization, you need to ask an admin from that Organization to add you as a member. Then you will receive an email with a link to join. You’ll be prompted to sign in with your email and be placed into the Organization with the role associated with the invitation.
We bet that you will never walk alone! For that reason, you’ll want to bring other people into your Organization. Here is how you can invite people to join your Organization:

💡 The Organization is the highest level of permission. By giving administrator rights to the Organization, you cascade administrator rights to the Workspaces and domains within it.

💡 Organization administrators are the only ones who have permission to let someone go!

Single Workspace Organization
For simplicity's sake, you are probably one of those Organizations that only have one Workspace. If for billing or organizational reasons, you need to create several Workspaces, please contact your CSM.

💡 If you create an Organization, the first Workspace will be created automatically using the organization's name

Multiple Workspace Organization
Several Workspaces to meet your organizational needs and to have different teams working on different projects but also to manage several levels of billing.
As easy as the creation of an Organization:
Add Workspace

⚠️ You may be forbidden to create a new workspace. By default you have one Workspace and you are limited to one. If you want to have more than that for invoicing or permissions purposes please contact your CSM or send us an email on [email protected].

There are 3 different roles:
Admin
: Membres with the Admin role have access to all domains in the Workspace. They can therefore perform the following actions: add/edit/deleteDeveloper
: Members with the Developer role have access to the entire domains of the Workspaces. They can do everything on a domain except Access server keys and delete/deactivate a domain.Reader
: Members with the Reader role have access to the entire domains of the Workspace but they can’t add/edit/delete and read the server keys page
💡 Only organization and Workspace administrators can manage roles at the workspace level

To join an existing Workspace, you need to ask an admin from that Workspace to add you as a member. Then you will receive an email with a link to join. You’ll be prompted to sign in with your email and be placed into the Workspace with the role associated with the invitation.
We bet that you will never walk alone! For that reason, you’ll want to bring other people into your Workspace. Here is how you can invite people to join your Workspace:
Members
sectionInvite a member

💡 All Workspace members are by default members of the Organization. Only organization administrators can invite a new member inside a Workspace

💡 When you no longer need your Workspace, you can delete it. Before that, you need to remove all the domains and users which are inside it. This option is only available for Workspaces administrators.

There is nothing simpler than that! You just need to follow the following process:
add a domain
. Be sure to do it in the proper Workspace
⚠️ You may be forbidden to do it if you have already reached the limit of sandboxes or production domain. In that case, you will have the following message “You do not have sufficient rights to perform this action, refer to an administrator of your Workspace.” If for some reason you need to increase this limit, please talk to your CSM or send us an email at [email protected].
